In augustus 2025 ben ik voor het eerst 2 weken alleen op vakantie geweest. Wat een droomreis hebben wij gehad! Wij zijn met ons gezin (twee jongens van 13 en 14) drie weken door Costa Rica gereisd. Een fantastisch reisbureau als je van plan bent naar Costa Rica te gaan! Elise kan allerlei (op maat gemaakte) reizen samenstellen die precies bij je wensen passen. Ze is bovendien een heel aardig en betrouwbaar persoon, die je helemaal verliefd zal maken op Costa Rica door haar ervaringen en passie te delen.

Afgelopen februari 2025 heb ik een geweldige ervaring gehad, met allerlei leuke activiteiten voor ieder wat wils. De natuur in Costa Rica is werkelijk prachtig, en we hebben zoveel dieren gespot – van kleurrijke vogels tot wilde apen! Elise was een fantastische reisleidster, altijd goed gehumeurd en regelde alles tot in de nopjes. De groepsreis was supergezellig, met leuke en fijne mensen waarmee we samen echt genoten hebben van alles wat het land te bieden heeft. De reis was perfect verzorgd en het voelde echt als een onvergetelijke ervaring. Zeker een aanrader voor wie het avontuur van Costa Rica wil ontdekken!
Ik ben met de groepsreis meegegaan omdat ik alleen reizen nog iets te spannend vond en het was een geweldige ervaring die ik niet had willen missen. Elise en Marius zijn 2 warme en zeer enthousiaste mensen waar je je meteen mee op je gemak voelt. Ze checken regelmatig in hoe het met je gaat en tijdens de reis wordt er ook in groep tijd gemaakt om even stil te staan door middel van mindfulness wat wel een meerwaarde was en voor verbinding met de groep zorgde. Er zijn tal van onvergetelijke excursies, de natuur in Costa Rica is prachtig en we hebben veel wildlife gespot. Het vervoer was goed geregeld en de accommodaties waren dik in orde. Heel fijn om van het land te genieten in een leuke groep waar er veel plezier werd gemaakt en je zelf niets in je hoofd moest steken qua dingen regelen. Kortom, Pura Vida! 👌
Net terug van een geweldige mooie groeps reis. Tot in detail goed geregeld! Zorgvuldig voorbereid en goede communicatie. Fijne en veilige buschauffeur, fijne accomodaties op leuke locaties. Ook fijn hoe Elise haar aandacht verdeeld over de verschillende groepsgenoten. Ik ben helaas minder valide maar kon prima meekomen door zorgvuldige afstemming. Waardoor ik mij zelf kon overtreffen. Echt mega fijne ervaring! Ook Marius een geweldige fijn aanvulling. Kortom aanrader!

De reis zelf was adembenemend. Costa Rica is een land van pure natuurwonderen, en Elise heeft de perfecte route voor ons samengesteld. Costa Rica is echt een land dat je moet ervaren. Het is niet voor niets dat het nu op ieders bucketlist zou moeten staan! De natuur is waanzinnig, van regenwouden tot adembenemende stranden. Zelfs uren rijden door de natuur is een avontuur op zich.
Elise heeft onze droomreis compleet gemaakt. Dankzij haar zorg en planning hebben wij volop kunnen genieten zonder ons zorgen te maken over logistiek of details. Wij waren volledig ontlast, konden elke seconde van onze vakantie intens beleven en genieten van alles wat Costa Rica te bieden heeft.
Dus, als Costa Rica nog niet op je bucketlist stond, zet het er dan alsjeblieft op! En of je nu zelf een reis plant of iemand zoals Elise zoekt om je droomreis te organiseren: Travelin The Now is absoluut de beste keuze. Wij zijn Elise ontzettend dankbaar voor alles wat zij voor ons heeft gedaan.
The most beautiful trip ever! I always wanted to travel, but for me it was a barrier to really going alone. I saw travel in the now on Instagram and I immediately felt that I had to do this. The trip turned out even better than I could imagine. Elise is a wonderful, sweet tour guide who takes her time and tries so hard to show you the most beautiful places in the country. She takes all her time. She gives good explanations about all the special places and, in combination with mindfulness, it made me completely in the moment. My girlfriend and I also didn't notice any crime at all, quite the contrary, the people were super friendly and all fully enjoy life, which is also the atmosphere that the whole country radiates.
The bus driver who toured us around also passionately shared various facts and information about different animals, plants en other stuff in Costa Rica while driving.
I would definitely recommend this trip! If you look on Elise's Instagram or website, there are plenty of photos and videos showing how it will roughly look like.
Also, take a look at what Elise recommends to bring, for example, water shoes, which I definitely recommend bringing along, so you can easily walk over rocks at the waterfalls.

We had an amazing 13-day trip. Elise really makes everyone feel at home. Even though we traveled a lot and been to so many magical places. Our personal driver Gilberto was a local who could tell a lot about the area and all it’s wonders. During the trip you’ll meet fellow travellers and make great connections. I will never forget the beach sunset with guitars that sprouted an intimate beach party. It was very spontaneous, but so much fun. Thanks Elise!
